Road Trippin

The Team Speedwagen Tow rig has done it again! This time we traveled to the "Buckeye State" to swing a deal with Larry Lemke. He's another good guy we have hooked up with through the Samba web site. This time we scored a freshly restored "68" pan, and the fractured remnants of a Fiberglas chopped oval. The pick of the day was a metal engine cover with rusted holes from being shot with a 45 cal.---now that's some bad gangster bug stuff. That's the body in the back of the truck mounted in what we call the "Dead Bug" position. Hope I can get this big model car glued back together. We stopped at a Waffle House to get some grub, and I had the second worst bowl of Chili that was ever served to me. It was so bad I ate it all just to keep any body else from being hurt by it. The worst I ever found was at a National Truck stop in New Mexico years ago. That stuff was so bad that the different layers of grease and oil would not mix together. They must have had different specific gravity. What's that got to do with anything you might ask? Its my attempt to show the wide range of expert experience that is available at the SPEEDWAGEN!
