Stand up STRAIGHT

We have been fiddling with the rear suspension of the SPEEDWAGEN.When you lower the rear end of a VW IRS suspension, you get a lifetime supply of negative camber. So rather than have a "knock-kneed" set up, we flipped the trailing arms from side to side, and that gave us some positive camber, that was adjusted out by lowering the ride height some more. Flipping the trailing arms required us to cut off the shock mounts and reweld them on the opposite side of the trailing arms. J.W. made us some adjustable struts that take the place of the coil over shocks, these allow us to adjust the ride height as required. We have moved the "LIMBO POLE" quite a bit. The oil pan has found a new use, it is starting to look like a plow. I pulled the engine off so I could get a good pic of the modification. We will plug the race motor back onto the tranny and start the design of our scatter shield, and exhaust system.
