Kokomo Streamliner

Made connection on http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/with a Bonneville Racing Team from Kokomo Indiana. They are only about 30 minutes north of the Shop. We are looking forward to a bench racing session with Larry McKinney and Ernie Johnston. Larry says that there is a chassis tucked inside this sled, and this is the ride height.The coalition of Indy racers is growing, salt fever is spreading quickly among Hoosiers. We need to find a place to do trial runs that is closer than Maxton N.C. If anybody has a clue where that might be---There could be a Mid West Timing association !

Search & Rescue

Wageneer Garrett and I went on an early morning Search and Rescue mission. Rumors had been reported to the "Vintage Tin Rescue Team", concerning a Chevy Truck cab that was being abused behind a shed in rural Boone County. The "Gear Head FORCE" is strong in Garrett. When we get close to a piece of vintage tin, his finger starts to glow blue. This "Junk Yard Jedi "trait was thought to have been extinct. We have renewed hope now that we will be able to locate many more pieces of abused tin. The Evil forces of corrosion never sleep---NOR DO the Wageneers !
